She specializes in teaching skills of emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness to cope with and manage life’s challenges and the emotions those challenges evoke within. Allison strives to address the root cause of any client issue through collaboratively discovering ways to improve the client’s situation, build strength, and resilience in order to help client’s reframe negative mindsets that disrupt overall functioning.
Allison is interested in working with individuals to help them manage life stressors and changes through the use of adaptive coping mechanisms, and improvement in relationships with friends, loved ones, and oneself. If you are an individual struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship problems, lack of balance, high stress, or problems with self-esteem, Allison will work to collaboratively figure out what you need in order to cope, enjoy life, stop focusing on your distress, relate better to the people who are important to you, and make healthy choices.
